Oil-Free Caesar Salad Dressing

  • 2 garlic cloves, large
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp capers in brine
  • 1 tbsp white miso
  • 1 tsp tamari
  • 1 tsp dulse flakes
  • 1/4 cup hemp seeds
  • 1/4 cup cashews
  • 1/3 cup water


  • Soak cashews in water for 2 hours; drain and rinse. Soaking the cashews will make the dressing creamier as well as make the cashews more digestible.
  • Add all ingredients to a high speed blender. Process until creamy. If the dressing is too thick, add some more water a tablespoon at a time until the right consistency is reached.
  • Dressing can be stored in a sealed jar in the refrigerator for up to a week.
